A programme that helps primary schools to recognise and value the special features of the High Weald AONB in their area and to use the landscape as a cross-curricular resource.

Timescale: Phase II September 2009 to August 2012. A Phase III for April 2013 onwards is in development.
Through an active partnership with schools the following has been developed: a bank of digital media resources e.g. historical characters telling their landscape stories; high quality education support material e.g. map sets, outdoor learning acivities and an after-school club programme; training resources for teachers; High Weald themed drama, art and music workshops; and school Welly Walks.
