Green woodworking: 3 day make a stool at Forest Garden

Location: Forest Garden, Shovelstrode, East Grinstead, Sussex
This course will focus on producing a beautifully crafted and unique piece of furniture and fully understanding the natural shrinkage qualities of timber for 'dry jointing' and making a sturdy piece without the need for glue, nails or screws. After three days you will be able to take home a stool with a woven seat of material of your choice [see below]. This course is run by experienced green woodworker Charles Hooper. Lunches, tea and coffee are provided. This course will run from 0900am until 5.00pm approximately. The final day should end after lunchtime [if all has gone to plan!] Special Requirements:- Appropriate clothing required, sturdy boots etc.
