Explore Flatropers Wood not far from Rye, on a circular walk of around 3km, exploring the reserve to learn about the huge variety of wildlife present in spring.The reserve comprises a diverse mixture of habitats ranging from woodland, streams and waterways to open areas of heather.
At this time of year the woodland should be bursting with bluebells and other spring wildflowers, the paths and rides alive with bug life.
Access to this reserve is from Bixley Lane, a small unsurfaced road which joins the A268 on a fairly sharp bend two kilometres west of Peasmarsh.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a few lay-bys on which to park in the lane.
Booking essential as places are limited.
