High Weald

The beer is one of a range of branded food and drink products that were launched by the National Trust in October 2009.

The ale's name was inspired by Lord Curzon, one-time Viceroy of India who donated properties, including Bodiam Castle, to the Trust. By purchasing beer made with local hops, shoppers can help to maintain the increasingly rare Kent and Sussex hop gardens.  Breweries that use local hops can be found at www.highweald.org/localproducts.

Viceroy is available in 500ml bottles and on draught from Westerham Brewery, www.westerhambrewery.co.uk.  A case of twelve bottles retails at £23.
