The Old Courthouse B&B is a Victorian courthouse in Hurst Green, Kent; situated in a truly beautiful part of the High Weald AONB. The guest room overlooks the beautiful garden area - a haven for local wildlife, with bird feeders and abundant flowers to attract bees and butterflies. The pond is also home to a variety of fauna. The garden is managed completely organically with a natural wildflower area.

The picturesque and historic villages, woodlands and rolling green hilltops can all be discovered without a car (the owners are happy to collect guests from Etchingham railway station). Bike hire is available from Quench Cycles at Bedgebury Pinetum. Bewl Water is also a great place to cycle and Bodiam Castle is accessible by bike.
Hurst Green and the surrounding area is well served with good places eat and drink, farm shops and National Trust properties. Picnic hampers are available from the delicatessen in Etchingham. There are several local wineries nearby, including Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard, Carr Taylor and Chapeldown Vineyard. As well as being within the High Weald AONB, the Courthouse is also in 1066 country; near Herstmonceux and Pevensey Castles, Batemans, Sissinghurst, Battle Abbey and the coast.
