Countryside sites

As well as numerous attractions and a fantastic rights of way network the High Weald has numerous countryside sites owned by a range of organisations including: the National Trust, RSPB, Woodland Trust and Forestry Commission.

These sites are free and welcome the public. They all have a good path network providing a range of walking options and there are normally places to stop and watch wildlife and have a picnic. Beyond a car park facilities tend to be limited - there is often an information board but site leaflets tend not be available - they are better downloaded before a visit.
