About us

We are the High Weald AONB Unit, a strategic, specialist team that:

  • furthers understanding of the High Weald
  • advises on its management and
  • enables action to conserve it.

We work on behalf of the High Weald Joint Advisory Committee, a partnership between Government and 15 local authorities.

Our project partners include the Heritage Lottery Fund, Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust, RSPB and Environment Agency.
