  • Minister learns more about AONB Unit work

    Richard Benyon, the Minister for the Natural Environment and Fisheries recently met with AONB Directors, Sally Marsh and Jason Lavender, and Richard Clarke of the National Association for AONBs to learn more about the Joint Advisory Committee's work and the services the landscape provides.

  • Victorian landowners brought to life

    Buchan Park, Crawley played host to its former Victorian owner, Philip Saillard during the first of a series of entertaining living history theatre performances that will unravel the fascinating stories of a few of the extraordinary people that have influenced the countryside we see today.

  • Energy Day for schools 'powerful learning'

    windmillenergyday3Constructing windmills, generating electricity through pedal power and learning about the journey of a wood chip were just some of the activities undertaken by almost 100 children from four High Weald primary schools as part of exploring local sustainable energy sources.
