  • Parent toddler walks 
    toddlerwalkEight short walks, designed for parents who wish to explore the countryside with their babies and toddlers are now available as both web downloads and in a handy laminated book form. The walks are focused on nature reserves, commons and parks in and around Tunbridge Wells and suggest activities to do with young children. Many of the routes are suitable for buggies.  Read more..
  • Anvil Ironworks at Borde Hill
    bordehillwolfspiderBorde Hill Garden, one of the High Weald's garden attractions, has launched a dramatic collection of giant plant and animal artworks made from recycled metal.  Until 11 September 2011 you will find creatures such as a wolf spider and a stag beetle,  and flowers such as red hot pokers and alliums.  Read more.. 
  • Smugglers Trail, established 1735 
    smugglersgangA Trail promoting the haunts of the infamous smugglers - the Hawkhurst Gang - has been launched. Starting at Hawkhurst  the driving trail covers some 20 miles around the Kent and Sussex border from Goudhurst down to Rye.  At each stopping place, usually local pubs and churches, there are further details on how the Gang would operate with fearsome ruthlessness.  Read more..
