'One Drop' organic garden demonstrates water conservation

water_butt_st_gregsThe children and parents of St Gregory's Catholic Comprehensive School have created a wonderful ' One Drop' organic garden in order for the students to gain greater insight into global water conservation and managing an organic garden.

With the help of Commonworks a 'Global Gardening' event was held at the Tunbridge Wells school. Ten local primary schools visited the new garden and learnt about the teaching resources and the cross-curricular activities that have developed from the enthusiasm of the teachers and pupils. This has led to all the attending schools wanting to create a similar area within their school grounds.
