'The Company' theatre group specialises in bringing history to life with entertaining outdoor theatre, set in the location where the stories facts originated and supported by accurately researched scripts.

The Company has begun scripting and performing four new plays in 2011, the first of these will be a walking theatrical performance around the RSPB's Broadwater Warren site on Saturday the 7th and Sunday 8th of May.  All of these performances sold out, the Jigsaw Puzzle has also sold out!

Other performances by The Company in 2011 are:

  • West Hoathly (in conjunction with the Stoneland Players) 22, 23, 24, 29 & 30 June, 1&2 July - this show is now SOLD OUT
  • St Leonard's Forest (Forestry Commission site) Saturday and Sunday 17th & 18th September.
  • Spa Valley Railway Tunbridge Wells (to be performed in the buffet car of a moving steam train!) 27th & 31st December & 1st & 2nd January 2012.

Painting and photography

During Spring 2010 the Weald Forest Ridge Landscape Partnership Scheme supported an exhibition at Tunbridge Wells Museum.  The exhibition comprised contemporary photography, mixed media painting, a large sculpture by Same Sky and interetsing archive material from the museum.
