The Historic Environment Awareness is an exciting venture which aims to explore the archaeological; landscape of the Weald Forest Ridge.
A LiDar (light detection and ranging) survey has mapped the area during 2009/10 as part of the Weald Forest Ridge Landscape Partnership Scheme's work and toolkits are now being developed to identify archaeological features in woodland on the ground and to 'proof' the features shown up by the aerial survey.
