The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum has been delivering buildings heritage training within the Weald Forest Ridge Scheme. The funded courses run as part of the Weald Forest Ridge Scheme have now finished but the Museum run many other excellent heritage courses.

The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is established as a centre of excellence in training in the building conservation industry, catering for a wide range of needs. It is hence the perfect project partner to deliver this element of the Scheme, with the specialist contacts to address the needs of the area's building heritage. The day school approach to be used will combine practical hands-on elements, as well as covering historical background and other under-pinning knowledge. The aim is to deliver this training for local homeowners and building crafts professionals.
