Interpreting the landscape

As part of our work to help the residents and visitors to the Weald Forest Ridge enjoy and learn more about the landscape, the Scheme has supported a range of interpretive projects at the following sites:RSPB_Broadwater_interp_panel_413pxX305px

  • The Ashdown Forest Visitor Centre
  • Birchden Wood
  • The Forestry Commission's Forests at TIlgate, St Leonard's and Sheffield.
  • The RSPB's Broadwater Warren Nature Reserve
  • Leechpool and Owlbeech Woods in Horsham
  • Weir Wood Reservoir, managed by East Sussex County Council.
  • Hargate Forest, Tunbridge Wells, managed by the Woodland Trust.
