General Information:
In Summer 2010, Year 3 set out to test their carefully planned Welly Walk. Armed with cameras, clipboards, maps and lunch, the children worked hard to record the information necessary for their Welly Walk leaflet. The Welly Walk incorporated a local Woodland Trust site, Guestling Woods, which is used by the school on a regular basis. It was a beautiful sunny day and the children had fun playing games, exploring their local area and even managed to expertly avoid some skittish cows!! The walk helped the children to complete a number of their High Weald Hero Actions and they are looking forward to sharing the walk with the school and wider community.
