General Information:
Elected members of Parkside School Council were responsible for testing and writing the instructions for their Welly Walk. For the first part of the walk, up to a patch of Ancient Woodland, the children were joined by Year 1 pupils. After some woodland games, minibeast sculptures and tree hunting, Year 1 returned to school and the School Council took charge of leading the walk. Children carefully navigated their way around the route, took pertinent photographs (in spite of the very thick fog!) and collated the information needed.
