General Information:
Children from Stonegate school were prepared to pull on their wellies following a pledge to protect the High Weald landscape. Almost immediately after joining the High Weald Hero scheme, children were set to work to plan a Welly Walk for their school. A couple of weeks later they headed out along local footpaths, through ancient woodland and across funny-shaped fields to gather the information needed for their Welly Walk leaflet.
The children worked in teams to navigate, photograph, check for hazards and write instructions for the route - which will be available by the end of the Summer term.
