General Information:
As part of a wider 'Stone Age Adventures' study, Year 6 children from Hollington Primary school participated in some High Weald Hero Stone Age workshops. They had the opportunity to meet 'Tarneg' and then used mapwork skills to locate sites of Stone Age archaeology closest to their school. Children also looked at the landscape to consider where it would be good to settle if they were leading a Stone Age tribe. They even had a go at communicating messages to each other with their very own version of cave drawings!
