October 2011 - Farnell Farm entered its Kentish Cobnuts for the first time in the National Fruit Show held at the Kent Showground, Detling. They were really pleased to win First Prize for the Kentish Cobnuts variety section and also won the John Bardsley silver tankard as a prize for the most meritious entry of cobnuts, of all varieties in the show. A real achievement for first time in the show!
All their cobnuts are naturally grown without the use of pesticides, fertilizers or chemical sprays. The workforce is made up of ladybirds and pheasants which keep the pests under control.
