Kent Wildlife Trust is looking for volunteers to help with the management of its Nature Reserves in the Weald area.
A weekly volunteer group is being set up by the Weald Warden, Matt Hayes to help with the conservation management of a number of nature reserves in the Weald area.
The tasks will run every Monday visiting different reserves and carrying out a wide range of practical conservation tasks ranging from coppicing to meadow management. Kent Wildlife Trust manages over 60 nature reserves, and volunteers are vital to the conservation work we carry out every year. Without the help of volunteers we would not be able to achieve as much as we do.
The green team task days are a great way of getting out to many of the fantastic, often hidden, areas of the Weald in Kent, helping to keep you active, meet new people and learn about the wonderful wildlife of Kent. No previous experience is necessary!
A Task Programme can be found on the website (Weald Programme)
