We are currently seeking a dynamic Communications Officer (Maternity Cover) to join our small team based in Flimwell on a fixed term contract, starting in October. The right candidate will work with a myriad of different organisations, communities and interest groups to raise the profile of the AONB amongst local, regional and national audiences.
You will have excellent written skills and a high level of IT literacy to be able to undertake this key role which will include writing copy and sourcing images for a range of publications, developing www.highweald.org, using traditional and new media channels, desktop publishing, presenting at events and building the Partnership's contacts.
A knowledge and interest in the environment is desirable alongside a flexible approach which will enable you to deal with the broad scope of the AONB Partnership’s work and the variety of tasks undertaken by its small staff team.
Hours of work: Minimum of 18.5 hours and maximum of 22.2 hours per week
Working pattern: Part time. Flexible. Term time working will be considered
Fixed term: October 2018 until 31 December 2019
Salary: £25,215 to £27,239 per annum (pro rata)
