In 2019, even more will have the opportunity to join the free-of-charge guided walks. The second year of the Festival is set to be a bigger showcase for the High Weald in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the legislation that led to the creation of AONBs.
Experienced and knowledgeable guides will lead a host of inspiring walks suitable for all ages and abilities, with themes such as local history, art, literature, wildlife and geology.
The High Weald Walking Festival is a collaboration between a number of local branches of The Ramblers and the High Weald AONB Partnership.
