High Weald

three_chimneys_farmSet amidst glorious countryside at the end of a one-mile farm track in the heart of the Weald of Kent, Three Chimneys Bed and Breakfast on a working farm. This is an ideal base from which to explore the High Weald's leafy country lanes, visit stately homes, castles and delightful gardens which are countless in this area, or enjoy a long leisurely lunch in one of the five inns in our local hilltop village of Goudhurst. You may prefer to stay on the farm and play tennis, enjoy the spectacular views across the wooded ridges or walk in the medieval Bedgebury Forest, or the National Pinetum.

Three Chimneys Farm is situated on the top of a hill and the panoramic views sum up the High Weald. In one direction you can see the beautiful village of Goudhurst perched on a hill with its pretty tile-hung buildings. It definitely has one of the most dramatic positions in the High Weald!

In the other direction you look over the Great Lake at Bedgebury that is just as impressive. The farm is surrounded by fields and also has direct access onto Bedgbury Forest where you can walk, cycle, horse ride or go orienteering.

The owner is more than willing to chat to guests about how they can explore the surrounding countryside and give them advice on specific places to go in different seasons for example Kings Wood, which has a carpet of bluebells in spring.  There are many visitor attractions within easy reach as well as a farmer's market and specialist local shops in the nearby town of Cranbrook.
