High Weald

HoadsFarmbbHoads Farm B&B is a beautiful 16th century farmhouse situated in Sandhurst, Kent, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its quiet country setting amidst farmland and vineyards makes it an ideal place for a countryside getaway, with lots of scenic walking routes and historic attractions nearby – including Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Bodiam Castle. The farm provides a natural habitat for all kinds of fauna and, where possible, areas that are home to wildlife are left undisturbed. The sunflower crop attracts an abundance of bumblebees, and their seeds also help to sustain the local bird population - particularly in winter.

The High Weald AONB is a beautiful area of the country, with historic footpaths woven across open farmlands and hilltops and through peaceful woodlands. There are many public footpaths near to the B&B. Experienced cyclists can explore the country lanes and steep hillsides, to enjoy perfect views across open green countryside from the top. Mountain bikers can follow narrow woodland lanes carved into the landscape throughout history by humans, pigs and horses. Hemsted Forest in nearby Benenden is a lovely place to walk and picnic. Hoads Farm has twin en suite guest rooms and one double room with a private bathroom. A full English breakfast is included.
