High Weald

Description: Slaugham, is a small village around an attractive green. The Norman Church has a 13th century tower with a Victorian clock set in its north side. A rare and pleasant feature of Slaugham is the absence of overhead wires in the village. Many years ago Colonel Warren paid to have them buried underground. The village also boasts a white-painted telephone kiosk!
