Directions/Transport: Start the walk at Salehurst Church and follow public footpath. Keep to footpath at left of wall. Do not go down private driveway. Follow footpath over the River Rother until you come to concreted road. Turn left and follow road past the remains of a Cistercian Abbey.

When you come to a junction with a footpath turn right and follow bridleway to the edge of a wood. Here you turn right, keeping along the edge of the woodland. Continue to follow the bridleway until you come to a junction with a driveway.

Follow driveway ahead around buildings. Do not take track to left which runs up hill. Walk through the farmyard until you come to a concreted road.

Follow the road until you come to a T junction. Here turn right again on a concrete road. Continue on this road til you meet the footpath to Salehurst on the left. Turn left and retrace your steps back to Salehurst Church.
