High Weald parishes have taken up the offer of a 'Making of the High Weald' illustrated talk in droves.  Since April the High Weald Cultural Landscape Adviser has delivered 10 talks at parish annual meetings. All meetings have been well attended, attracting up to 80 people in some cases.

Residents have been fascinated to discover more about the landscape history of the High Weald and have also appreciated the opportunity to find out  about the special features identified in the High Weald AONB Management Plan through bespoke parish maps illustrating the distribution of the features at a parish level.
