- Publication and distribution of the 2nd edition of the High Weald AONB Management Plan 2004
- Grant awards over £450,000 for projects that met AONB Management Plan objectives
- Start of new Cultural Heritage Advisory Service - 39 visits and 5 talks in first 7 months
- Roll out of the JAC's primary school education programme: 8 new High Weald Hero schools, 11 whole school assemblies, 13 themed workshops, 4 new Welly Walks achieved in first 7 months
- National and Regional acclaim for High Weald historic farmstead research
- Understanding of Routeways developed through volunteer support for trialing new survey methodologies
- Giant-led, musical and fiery public celebrations of the Weald Forest Ridge and its 4 medieval forests
- Vanishing Meadows exhibition in partnership with Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Place
- Sign up from three more local authorities for extension of the Ancient Woodland Survey
- Funds secured for extension of the Ancient Woodland Restoration Project and the Weald Meadows Initiative
