csaw_test_Ed_Taylor_being_tested_on_maintenance_square_200pxA joint promotional leaflet has been produced to publicise subsidised training courses available to local landowners, businesses and professionals through the Scheme. The courses are being delivered by Esus Forestry & Woodlands, the Weald & Downland Museum and Plumpton College at Netherfield.

countryside_training_brochureSubsidies of up to 50% are available to those living and carrying out work in the Weald Forest Ridge area.  The selection of courses will help businesses, landowners and individuals maintain the rich heritage of the area by developing the knowledge and skills needed to buy meat direct from the farm gate, bring neglected woodland back into management and encourage appropriate maintenance of historic buildings.
