The Clay Campaign
and The Watercolour Explorers Guide are all themed art workshops developed to draw on the High Weald’s landscape, natural materials and local products for inspiration.
The workshops were offered to primary schools across the area. For a small fee, schools were able to have four workshops on the theme(s) of their choice, run by Same Sky, a community arts group.
Feedback from the first few workshops indicated a high level of teacher satisfaction with the workshops.
The workshops were just one activity offered to schools as part of the High Weald Heroes primary school education project. More classroom activities can be downloaded from our publications library.
