High Weald

walking children ticehurst SNCome and join the Whopper School Welly Walk......
wellies, waterproofs and willing volunteers required!

When?
During two exciting walking festivals coming up in your local area; the Sussex Walking Festival from 27 September to 4 October 2015 and the 1066 Walking Festival from 3 to 9 October 2015.

Why?
Outside your school gates there may once have been Roman soldiers marching, medieval farmers trampling the earth with their pigs and wartime Londoners picking hops. The landscape has been a stage for many stories and the walking festivals are a good excuse to celebrate your amazing learning resource.
