Last year’s event saw hundreds of people – experienced hikers, novice walkers and families alike – turn out to explore the breathtaking landscape of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Beauty, led by experienced and knowledgeable guides.

The High Weald Walking Festival is a collaboration between a number of local branches of The Ramblers and the High Weald AONB Partnership.
With stunning views, fascinating history and an extensive network of footpaths and ancient byways, the High Weald is a walker’s paradise. Explore rolling hills studded with sandstone outcrops, stroll through dense woodland and follow in the footsteps of medieval pig drovers down sunken routeways.
Whether you’re an avid rambler, nature spotter or archaeology buff, or just want to get out in the fresh air and explore your local area, the High Weald Walking Festival has something for everyone to enjoy.
